About Me

My name is Jono Gilbert, I am an English artist (landscape painter, photographer, filmmaker) and also a trained wildlife ecologist with a passion for the environment. My lifelong ambition with my art is to connect people to their natural environment as well as inspire and educate them as to the importance of protecting it.

I have always been attracted to painting natural scenes, especially those with atmospheric lighting. I love the challenge of immortalising these transient moments in my work, and I believe that they create moments which capture the attention and connects people to the land.
